Software projects

Here are some of my software projects, in no particular order.

Svirfneblin

This is my super secret and awesome project. More soon.

IRCSRP is a proposal for client side IRC encryption. It has it's own project page here: IRCSRP.

MP3 decoder in Haskell

This is an implementation of an MP3 decoder written in the Haskell programming language. Information about the project, source etc. can be found here: Let's build an MP3-decoder!

Transistoradio

Transistoradio is a cross platform Internet radio player with some cool features, such as an intuitive GUI, good proxying capabilities, extensive channel support (Windows Media, Real Audio, MP3, aacPlus etc). The network/demuxing layer is written from scratch, and sometimes supports radio stations VLC or mplayer cannot handle.

See the dedicated Transistoradio web page for more info.

Sugar Pill

A fast image viewer for embedded JPEG:s in RAW files, I wrote back in 2005. This program works for my Nikon D70 NEF:s, but will probably work for other cameras too. This is an old project and due to loss of source code I don't maintain it anymore, though I use it often. Here's a screenshot.

Download (37 KB). Tested on Windows 2000.

Date: 2005.

pytruecrypt

TrueCrypt in Python. This project is, unfortunately, getting rather outdated. See my TrueCrypt Explained article, detailing the cryptographic subsystem of TrueCrypt up to and including version 5.

EGDW

EGD for win32. This program runs in the background and gathers randomness. See the sourceforge page.

Old projects

Back in 2003-2004 I wrote dozens of small win32 applications, some more useful than others. Here are some I'm more or less fond of.
